From Sam Raimi's groundbreaking 2002 original, through Andrew Garfield's emotional take on Peter Parker, Tom Holland's journey in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the breathtaking animated adventures of Miles Morales, Spider-Man has continued to evolve while staying true to the qualities that made us fall in love with the character in the first place.

Over the past two decades, we've laughed, cheered, cried and watched Spider-Man grow from a friendly neighbourhood hero into one of the most enduring icons in popular culture.

As part of Aussie Goes Hollywood, I'm revisiting every major Spider-Man film in release order, exploring not just how they compare as movies, but what each one contributed to Spider-Man's story and why this character continues to resonate with audiences across generations.

Prior to the recent Olympic Games in Paris, someone had the brave idea to make a movie about a shark terrorising the French capital. Some have called it the best shark movie since Jaws, but it's premise and conclusion may divide audiences. Here's my thoughts either way...
