The Score Presents... Best Use of a Song in a Movie


As Will Ferrell once said while presenting at the Oscars "There is no greater weapon in a Director's arsenal, than a strategically placed song". A bit OTT there Will, but he makes a good point. When the right song is put in the right scene, Movie Magic happens. I've given this some recollection and chosen what I think are the Top 10 Best Uses of a Song in a Movie. With a good mix of classic songs you know brought back to life by a movie, or a movie that brought a song you never heard before into the mainstream where it stayed. Click below to start the list.
